  • Membership and Billing Information: Payment information (credit card details, bank account information) which is securely stored by our third-party provider, Gym Master, for billing purposes only. We do not directly store your full payment details on our systems.

  • Health and Fitness Information: Information collected through standard exercise questionnaires and more detailed information gathered by our personal trainers during assessments and program development. We will obtain your explicit consent before collecting sensitive health information.

  • Fitness Goals and Preferences: Information you provide regarding your fitness objectives and exercise preferences.

  • Website Usage Data: Information about your interactions with our website, including pages visited, time spent on the site, and other usage statistics.  

  • Technical Information: Your IP address and device information.

  • Media: Photos or videos taken at the gym or during events, with your consent where appropriate.

  • Other Information: Any other information you voluntarily provide through forms, sign-ups, or interactions with us.

We collect this information through various means, including:

Data Retention Policy:

  • Membership Information: We will retain your membership information for the duration of your active membership and for a period of 7 years after your membership ends to comply with accounting and tax regulations, handle potential disputes, and for analysis of membership trends.

  • Billing Information: Payment details processed through Gym Master are retained according to their policies. We retain records of transactions for 7 years for accounting purposes.

  • Health and Fitness Information: We will retain health questionnaire data for 3 years after your last interaction with our personal training services, unless you request its earlier deletion (where legally permissible). Personal trainers may have their own retention policies for session notes, which will be communicated to you.

  • Website Usage Data: We typically retain website usage data for 13 months for analytics purposes.

  • Marketing Communication Preferences: We will retain your preferences regarding marketing communications indefinitely until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.

When your personal information is no longer needed, we will take reasonable steps to securely destroy it or de-identify it.

 

6. Your Rights and Choices

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
